We’re passionate about looking after our environment and want to enable our community to join us.

We’ve come a long way since 2000, with our goal educate the community and industry about sustainable agriculture in Hawke’s Bay. We’ve grown, moved a few times, and broadened our work to look at sustainability as a whole. We support our community with education, specialist recycling, upcycled electronics, and zero waste event management services.

At Environment Centre Hawke's Bay,  we provide education, information and a range of services to inspire, lead, educate and support people to create a sustainable Hawke's Bay. 

   

We offer information on sustainable living, run free workshops and events and offer free specialist recycling (household batteries, coffee pods, bread tags, bottle tops and much more). You can also recycle your electronic waste and we provide Zero Waste Event Management services. You may have seen our team of Waste Warriors at large events and the local farmers market. Most recently, as part of our commitment to product stewardship, we have expanded our services to include the sale of upcycled electronics.
