The Hastings Environment Centre has now joined the E-Waste Challenge and is now accepting your used electronic equipment.

 

The Enviroment Centre has now joing forces with the RCN e-Cycle Network and the Hastings District Council with the aim of zero ewaste to landfill.  

The e-waste challenge

  • e-waste is the fastest growing type of waste in the world!
  • Electronic equipment contains toxic heavy metals and hazardous materials
  • Electronic equipment contains valuable materials which can be recovered and resused when recycled

 There is a minimal charge to drop off your ewaste. This fee covers handling, freight and recycling costs.
